Glengarry Glen Ross
Christian Slater stars in a major revival of David Mamet’s award-winning play Glengarry Glen Ross at the Playhouse Theatre, London. Directed by Sam Yates (Murder Ballad), the production marks the first return of the drama to the West End since the 2007 show at the Apollo Theatre, starring Jonathan Pryce. Taking place in the office of some cut-throat Chicago salesman, the play sees them willing to go to any lengths to secure a deal. Returning to the stage at a time when the American Dream is under fierce debate, the contemporary classic is bound to strike a chord with audiences, even now. Originally premiering at the National Theatre in 1983, the production earned every major theatre award, including the Olivier Award for Best Play and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Glengarry Glen Ross returns to the West End for a limited 14-week season at the Playhouse Theatre, starring Christian Slater, Kris Marshall, Robert Glenister, Stanley Townsend and Don Warrington. Don’t miss out!
